Ingestion of soil or: feces that contain eggs will cause human infection with round worms, which then hatch and start migration in the system. Hookworms are more likely to be acquired by walking barefoot on contaminated soil, such as on a beach but can also be acquired from feces. Tape worms require ingestion of a flea that was infected by feeding off an infected dog. Pick up POOP! and wash hands before eating.
