A member asked:

As a teenager, i had bad period cramps but as i entered my 20s the cramps eased and became bearable. should i still be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not particularly: These are known to be triggered by chemicals released in the breakdown of uterine tissue. Often simple over the counter NSAID drugs like Naproxen sodium or Ibuprofen will counter the effect. It is not a forerunner of a bad medical condition. So if simple things fix it and it doesn't mean bad things, why stress ?
