Depends : On what the diagnosis is as to how long it will take to recover. Need to know whether the problem is bone (fracture) cartilage (meniscus) ligament or other soft tissue such as bursitis. Recommend asking your physiotherapist or seeing doctor for examination and/or tests

Depends:: if fractured a minimum of 6-8 weeks. If severely sprained- 4-6 weeks, Ice and anti inflammatory medicine are musts .
