Yes but: Use over the counter Plan B if intercourse was within 72 hours to decrease the risk of unplanned pregnancy. It is available at the pharmacy. It works better and has less side effects that the Yuzpe method of emergency contraception. In this method 5 pills are taken of combined oral contraceptives like Sprintec. Nausea is a common side effect.
