Breast pain: Breast tenderness and nausea can be normal signs of nearing your period. There is no reason to check your cervix as it would be closed unless you were pregnant and going into labor. I would recommend not doing this as it can cause infections. These symptoms also could be related to early pregnancy and you should take pregnancy test if you don't get your period
