Abdominal pain: Have you been evaluated by a gastroenterologist? Certain problems like gastritis, peptic ulcer, sludge in gall bladder, lactose or gluten intolerance will not be diagnosed by ct scan or ultrasound. Blood tests for pancreatic or liver inflammation are also important. A gastroenterologist will order appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis.
