A member asked:

How long will nalaxone show up on a urine test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

For about a week: Naloxone has an active half life of about 2 hours, Metabolite excretion in urine takes much longer. The half life of naloxone metabolites is 24 hours (RxList). Usually by 5-7 half lives (a week), the metabolites are cleared from the system. These are averages from healthy individuals. The actual half life of the metabolites may be longer in a particular person.
