Exam needed: These varied symptoms may not be interrelated but some of them are worrisome-especially abdominal discomfort and bloody stools. There could be an anal fissure or hemorrhoids, but inflammatory bowel disease is a concern. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate you for the gastrointestinal complaints and your primary care physician for the others and appropriate tests will be ordered.
