Extra nipples: Supernumerary nipples is a common minor congenital malformation of additional nipples and/or related tissue appearing on the chest. Sns cann occur along normal embryonic milk line or in other locations.The ones along line can actually function with milk production. If cosmetically objectionable can be surgically removed without difficulty.

Polythelia: Polythelia refers to supernumerary (or accessory) nipples. Polythelia is quite common, maybe present at birth and it may not be recognized until later in life. Rarely do they cause complications. An association with certain renal/kidney/genitourinary conditions has been suggested and some doctors may decide to perform an ultrasound or pelvic imaging in childhood.
