Neuropathy: This may represent diabetic neuropathy. There are good treatments for this. The treatments range from good control of your blood sugars, medication. Spinal cord stimulators have been used for severe cases.

"Pinched Nerve": Even though diabetics can suffer from neuropathy, it seldom becomes "numb". That concerns me that something else is going on. A 'pinched nerve" from elsewhere, the lumbar spine or abd/pelvis, needs to be ruled out and evaluated. Talk with you doc about the type and distribution of symptoms so an appropriate workup can be ordered.
