It should be safe: Men do not get BV -- at least they get no symptoms, even if exposed to the bacteria that overgrow in the vagina in women with BV. He is not at risk from either unprotected vaginal sex or performing oral sex on you. And of course oral sex by you is no risk. However, as you may know, gonorrhea and chlamydia are more common in women with BV, so get tested for them if not yet done.
