Explanation : This medications are effective for mild to moderate pain in regular doses as taken 2 tablets every 5-6 hours after meal. For severe pain dosage should be increased as 3 even 4 tablets of ibuprofen by your doctor for short period of time. This is explanation why sometimes you do not feel their effect. Be well

If used continuously: Daily maximum doses may result in rebound pain when drug level in blood drops below therapeutic level. But when used occasionally, NSAIDs like aspirin/Motrin should continue to provide effective pain relief. Remember to take these meds w/ food & full glass of water to protect esophagus/stomach from irritation.
