Back problem?: Lumbar (low back problem) can be movement related and refer pain to the buttocks. Can be an issue with muscle, disc or the nerve. Would recommend consultation with a doctor licensed in your area as examination is required and you may need tests such as bloods and xrays, scans etc to help sort it out. Good luck.

Lower back pain: This could be a back strain or tendinitis. You should see an Osteopath who does manipulation and who could try a trigger point injection if deemed necessary if manipulation doesn't completely resolve the issue. Physical therapy with some modalities may also be of benefit
