A member asked:

My sgot is 53 n sgpt is 31 why?

Depends: Your SGOT is minimally elevated. It may due to alcohol intake, some medications you are taking, or from being overweight, or due to an infection. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that.
