Post procedure: Anytime a patient has a problem after a procedure, they should contact the gastroenterologist who performed it. While you are waiting for that response, it would be good to try fluids as tolerated, because many patients are somewhat dehydrated after a bowel prep and having not been able to eat and drink for a while. Sometimes that helps. If it's very severe, go to the ER.
