Yes: Nuvaring is a vaginal ring containing a combination of hormones similar to what is found in birth control pills. The ring is inserted in the vagina for three weeks, followed by one week without the ring. It's common to develop some type of discharge while using nuvaring. However, if the discharge has any bothersome symptoms, see your doctor to check for an infection.
