This could be a: strept throat. You should see a health care provider and have a culture obtained so that you can receive appropriate treatment and avoid long term potential consequences.

Strep throat?: It sounds like you have a throat infection. You will likely need antibiotics to help with the infection but more importantly to prevent against rheumatic fever.
