Sometimes.: DHEAs is an androgen that is also measured along with testosterone (or at least DHEA the precursor). Typically you can have elevated testosterone and normal DHEAs. Elevated DHEAs can indicate a number of causes most involving excess adrenal activity. Elevated DHEAs is higher than 7ug/ml, and I'm not sure about the levels you reported in terms of calibration. Discuss Endo referral with your PCP
