Dry cough with bouts of nausea, congestion, stuff nose, loss of appetite. No fever. Feels similar to bronchitis but with nausea and chills, insomnia

Exam: you definitely have an upper respiratory infection: the question is, is this a bacterial or viral infection. The chills and nausea are worrisome and I suggest a medical exam.
