Fibrocystic Breast: changes are very common. The lumps in fibrocystic breasts tend to fluctuate in size throughout the month and are usually movable. These lumps are usually more noticeable and often tender just before a woman's period. Fibrocystic breasts aren't harmful or dangerous, and do increase the risk of breast cancer.

Can be normal.: For a young woman with regular periods, it can be normal to feel changes in your breasts, particularly tender nodules. As long as they're NOT inflamed and as long as they come and go and you feel them on both sides (symmetry), you should be okay, but anything more concerning should be checked out by a doctor. It is also important to make sure you don't have a family history of cancer.
