There: are many new drugs which act on the RELEASE of HISTAMINE the chemical which causes the symptoms you have....Antihistamines are often NOT effective enough to "fight" histamine once it is relreased. ALSO LOCAL therapy with corticosteroid sprays are now available without Prescription in the US! Hope this helps!
