Two issues?: ...e.g. 1) improvement with Xifaxan; 2) diffuse muscle spasm. Does not sound like a cause and effect relationship. Indeed, what you describe doesn't precisely fit Xifaxan's known side effects. Would recommend an evaluation by your doctor. Just a side note: could stress be a factor?

For the last three months, I've had bloating after each meal coupled with thinning stool and constipation. I had an endoscopy (normal), colonoscopy (removed 3 pollips), emptying test (normal), and so far one week on Xifaxan for SIBO, no improvement.

A few times a year, a rash appears all over my body, and I get severe itching at my extremities such as hands and feet, the top of my head. ?
