Should resolve: I'm sorry you had a post op bile leak - that's a known risk of about .3-.5 percent. The bile is caustic, and can certainly be irritating. After the stent placement, and the leak has been sealed, the discomfort should resolve. If you are still having discomfort, follow up with your surgeon. Good luck.
