Yes, but....: ...It's extremely rare. I have done over 4000 laparoscopic gall bladder removals since 1990, and have had only one cystic duct clip failure. However, I have taken care of two other people in that time who have had the same problem. I would not worry about that. Good luck.

Yes ,Possible: It is possible in immediate post operative period, late post of.Period no untoward effect even if it dislodged as scar tissue seals.
