Probably not, but...: ...nobody can say for sure. Some cases of BV in women seem to be related to oral sex, and it is possible that some cases occur becuase of exposure to mouth bacteria. The same kind of bacteria involved in BV are greatly increased in the mouth of people with gum disease.
