Absolutely: It does not count as aerobic exercise. For that, you would need to feel your heart rate increase and be maintained near maximum for 30" or so. Best way to tell without checking pulse is a bead of sweat. But compared to sitting at a computer like I am now, it is definitely exercise. Consider also taking the stairs and not the elevator.
