On vaginal imaging, fetal heart activity will usually be seen between 6-7 weeks. Try not to get too nervous but do bear in mind that up to 50% of all fertilized eggs fail to advance beyond the first trimester. If fetal heart is seen at 8 weeks there is a 98-99% success probability.
