A member asked:

Not uncommon for me to go to bed with a blood sugar at 90, but when i wake up it's 103. why? does this mean i'm heading toward developing diabetes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not unusual: For you sugar to be a little higher in the morning especially if you had a snack or drink before bed. These are still in the normal range. If you are worried get a hemoglobin A1C to see where your sugar is for the last three months.
