Yes & no: Sleep walking is more often related lack of adequate restorative sleep causing a sleep deficit. Traveling or sleeping in a strange environment can aggravate this. Sleep entry is most often like a gentile glide into the stages, but a deficit triggers a rapid fall, like a near crash landing. Try budgeting more time for sleep & it should not recur.
