Fine: The gallbladder is commonly removed by minimally invasive surgery. This means there are one to four holes created on the abdominal wall. There may be two holes on the right, one below and the last on umbilicus. The holes are stitched closed so removing the steri strip is ok. Make sure no redness, drainage, or excessive tenderness.
