Above 10: it is considered high when the count is above 10,000.

Greater than 10K: nornal WBC is approximately 5,000-10,000. WBC of 18.5 is considered high; however the differential ( breakdown of WBC types) is equally important. I do suggest a repeat CBC and examination.
