Rash characteristics: It would be very important to show this rash to a doctor. If the rash is painful, it suggests something more serious might be going on. There are some viruses that can do that (like varicella or the chicken pox virus). Then again, there could be some hematologic phenomenon going on. I would highly recommend seeing a doctor who could tell you more the rash. Also, I would not waste time -do it today
