Need more info.: Was there a trauma involved here? Did you twist the ankle? Did you fall? Do you have any medical problems, such as gout or arthritis that started at a younger age? Is it one ankle or both? Are there any other joints that are swollen? This will be a good issue to review via virtual consultation.
