Go to Emergency Room: In the Emergency Department, we see a great deal of dental problems chronic and acute. If your symptoms include an inability to open your mouth, swallow properly, breath properly or cause severe pain and follow a dental trauma or procedure...call your dentist now or go to the ER.

Jaw pain: Very difficult to advise you properly over the internet. It's best to see your own dentist asap to address this issue. Limited opening can be from TMJ/TMD related to the extraction visit (jaw spasm from injection or opening wide for procedure); pain can be related to tooth or from another tooth. Your own dentist should be able to determine cause and treat you accordingly. Call for an appointment
