Rib cage pain.: Rib cage pain, or chest pain to be less specific, can have etiologies in the chest wall, lungs, heart, esophagus or trachea. As such, having such a pain for six months without diagnosis is not appropriate. We really need to elucidate the cause of your pain at this point. Doctors visit is in order.
