This pain: may ORIGINATE in your back !! A pinched nerve in your Thoraco-Lumbar spine ( Upper Back ) could result in "rib cage" pain radiating to the front and POSITIONAL in nature! Mention this to your PCP (Primary Care Provider) who you should consult with ...don't let it "go"! Hope this helps! Dr Z
