Irregular menses: It might actually be an episode of breakthrough bleeding and a menstrual cycle. There are many possible reasons for irregular menses. Change in hormone levels is usually involved. Please see your physician or gynecologist if this occurs for 3 or more cycles or if you have heavy bleeding.
