Sounds ok: A 3 days cycle followed by some old bloody discharge sounds fairly normal. If you are not happy with your level of cycle control there are many birth control options that can lighten and shorten the menstrual cycle.

We had sex 5 days after ovulating. Period one day late. It started with small blood clot then bleeding in intervals. Stopped for a day then lasted 4.
