Is it normal for nitro antibiotics to turn your urine green?

Nitrofurantoin?: If this is the medication you're talking about, it is well known for causing color changes of the urine. Most people describe it is dark yellow or brown in color, although I suppose it could appear green. It is a harmless temporary effect, which usually disappears when the medication is stopped.
