Water is important for living. It is required for every activity of life and life itself. e.g. most of the waste products of the body are removed by the body thru urine. So enjoy a nice cool glass of water!

Water keeps you from dying of dehydration-main health effect. May also prevent kidney stones, hypernartremia, and kidney failure if you get dehydrated. Can also keep you from dying of heat stroke which often occurs when you exercise and sweat. Too much water can cause hypoosmolar, hyponatremia, coma and death. Drink when thirsty is my advice. Unless running marathon, then follow advice there.
