Duplicate question: From my reply yesterday: "Doxycycline can cause photosensitivity (increased susceptibility to sunburn), but usually it does not. If you've had it before and know you are susceptible, or if still concerned, you probably can go in the sun with a strong sun block cream. In any case, the drug should be gone and no risk a week or so after the last dose. Enjoy your holiday!"
