Depends: Headache can be that one symptoms of concussion that lingers. Can be months to years and is case by case basis. If this is a problem, please see a concussion or headache expert .

Hard to say: It may be a while even months but should be getting less severe, other symptoms may predominate over time. If things are not getting better over time discuss with your Gp referral to the concussion service for your DHB.

Evaluation: Hopefully you are under the care of a concussion team, including a neurologist, physiatrist, physical therapist and occupational therapist trained in concussions. Your team should help assess your condition and help provide expectations with respect to symptoms and approach for alleviation. Good luck.

Can take a long time: Post concussion symptoms are different for everyone. I would be looking at a recovery window in 3 month increments. Track your symptoms for your doctors in frequency, intensity and duration.
