Osmotic Laxative: Yes, it is OK to take Miralax daily. There are different types of laxatives. Some are safer than others . It depends on how they work. Saline laxatives Stimulant laxtives-most bowel addicting Stool softners- colace Osmotic laxatives- This is Miralax type If it becomes chronic or lasting more than 3 months, causing more symptoms I would consider finding out the cause of the constipation
