Some commonality: Ectopic is a pregnancy so no period other signs of pregnancy occur- appetite, fullness, breast changes etc for the duration until identified and hopefully treated before rupture. If spontaneous termination can have bleeding and products like a miscarriage all about timing, location and making the diagnosis.
