8-12 hours later: Hi, Clonazepam is a long acting benzodiazepine. Lasts 8-12 hours. Your dose is small. You indicated friends over tonight. So to have no drug alcohol interactions dont drink. If you do drink alcohol you may have an additive effect of sedation or lethargy. Dont want to fall asleep on your friends. Not good to mix Clonazepam with alcohol. Have a Great Weekend Dr Lori Lange
