Dry Eyes: Could be due to dry eyes When using the laptop, the eyes are opened and not blinking so won't get lubricated with tears You might try some lubricating eye drops from the pharmacy

Dryness: For while after a viral conjunctivitis the eyes will be a little dry. This is exaggerated by computer use which is commonly drying as well. Have next to your computer a bottle of lubricating eye drops. Do not use the drops that say "gets the red out" as these are drying. Give it a little time and the symptom will disappear.
