Flickering: Twitching of an eyelid(blepharospasm) can occur with eye strain or excessive caffeine intake. Since you're also experiencing irritation and redness. an examination by an ophthalmologist is indicated for diagnosis and treatment. There could be a dry eye syndrome or reaction to cosmetics, hair spray, etc.
