Cardiac: There is some evidence that hydroxyzine may not be food for the cardiovascular system but the incidence is very low. Overall , it is still a very safe drug. On the other hand, what is the reason for her to be on this medication. Perhaps after 10 years , it may be worthwhile to try stopping the drug and see if she still needs it.
