A member asked:

What are the chances of me getting pregnant with both, hashismoto's and pcos? my husband and i have major concerns about it.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible?: Hashimoto's can lessen fertility w/antibodies, but it's not that common. If you thyroid level is normal, it's usually not a problem pcos and it's cause (insulin resistance) can often be treated successfully w/metformin and possibly other medication to restore normal menses and even fertility. Diet, exercise and weight loss helps a lot as well. Check w/ your doctor.
