How do you know if it's your period of pregnancy bleeding?i spot before my period(brown) and then bleed for 5 days,and at times spot after period.

A pregnancy test: If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. This is the first step. Bleeding occurs sometimes in pregnancy but it is never considered normal. Any bleeding in pregnancy should be evaluated by your doctor.
